Can Sulawesi shrimp live with other animals in captivity? Unfortunately, the only other inhabitants you can keep with Sulawesi shrimp are other Sulawesi Shrimp Species (article on mixing species), Freshwater Snails, and Other Shrimp.

Tankmate #1: Other Sulawesi's

Since all Sulawesi shrimp variations are different species; they won't interbreed and can be housed together. Please make sure you try to keep Sulawesi species from the same lake together as some require different parameters.

Tankmate #2: Freshwater Snails

One of the best snails species you can keep with Sulawesi shrimp are Sulawesi Rabbit Snails, they come from the same lakes and in many different color morphs', some of which are very brilliant. You are able to keep Ramshorn snails and other types but please make sure these snails can handle Sulawesi temperatures, and parameters before you put them into your tank.

Tankmate #3: Other Shrimp

Neocaridina shrimp are the perfect tankmate for Sulawesi shrimp, they can live in the parameters and temperature of Sulawesi shrimps. They can even train your Sulawesi shrimp to eat processed foods in captivity!
